ACADEMIC RADIATION ONCOLOGY POSITION - Ottawa Ontario

The Radiation Medicine Program (RMP) of The Ottawa Hospital is seeking dynamic and motivated Radiation Oncologist to fill a permanent academic position. The vision of the program, consistent with that of the hospital, is to be a top 10% North American performer in our clinical, educational and research mandates. Interested applicants must possess qualities that help us achieve this goal.
The position includes a formal post with the Division of Radiation Oncology at The University of Ottawa. 70- 80% of time will be spent on clinical service, with the remainder spent on activities that lead to academic promotion. The workload is nearly exclusively clinical in nature, including call and inpatient duties, the latter being shared amongst 24 other members of our division. The candidate would be expected to start in June 2025.
Specifically, we are looking for an individual to join our Gynecologic radiotherapy group including our interstitial MR-guided brachytherapy program. Experience in Breast and/or Lung radiotherapy would be an asset. Other sites could be considered depending on the preferred candidate’s training and experience.
